Held on Thursday, 5th March, 2020

the program started at 10:00am with an opening prayer by Mr. Richmond Azampaka Apiiga (The finance director of the foundation) after a warm reception by the management team of the facility.

Mr. Joseph Ndong (a Volunteer) was called upon to give an introduction of the foundation to the audience, which he did, perfectly explaining the mission and vision of the foundation and its achievements so far.

Ministering to the 150 lactating mothers present was Mr. Abraham Alebina Ayemiga. As the vision statement of the foundation talks about helping children understand how much they are loved by God, it is no doubt that the topic for the sermon was THE TREASURE JESUS SEES IN EVERY CHILD.

Theme:

The treasure Jesus sees in every child

Scripture: Luke 18:16

Everybody is fully aware of how precious gold, diamond, silver are. Every child that God gives us is more precious than that. Whenever we get gold we always try our best to keep it well and protect it from being stolen.

Our children are more precious than all these. We need to raise them in the light of God, take good care of them physically, feed them well and bath them regularly.

Whatever the child will grow to be in the future starts from how that child is treated from the beginning. Let us not leave our children to good lucks;that is to say, leaving them suffer without being fed well, without clothes and sandals with the thinking that whatever God wants them to be they will be.

The preacher added that God will not be happy with any parent especially the mothers who will have less time for their children.

At the end of the sermon, an altar call was made by Mr. Azampaka but no soul was won. Glory be to God.

Since the foundation delights in showing God’s love to the less privileged, the vulnerable and children in a practical way, there was a distribution of toothbrushes, OMO detergent, and washing soap to each of the 150 mothers. The recipients were very glad and expressed their deepest gratitude to the foundation for the kind gesture. The facility’s staff was also awed by the depth of love the foundation shown through the gesture.

It all ended with a closing prayer from a volunteer among the women. Thank God for the success and thank you for your support. Shalom!!!
